The developed process and technology is based on an innovative approach of fractionating the rice biomass in to cellulosic pulp being utilized for moulded products for sustainble packaging applications such as disposable cuttelery and industrial packaging materials.
The remaining lignin rich fraction discharged in the waste streams being recovered an polymeric biomaterials being used as bio reinforced Plastics making the process a zero liquid discharge with minimized water and environmental foot prints.
The innovative process claims to be employing bio refinery, bio economy and circular economy approach utilizing Agriculral lignocellulosic Waste biomass producing sustainble bio degradable food grade packaging materials as replacement of single use Plastics and also a resource conservation and recovery.
The other major advantageous of the innovative technology is reduced dependency on fossil based fuels and imports while providing opportunities for livelihood, income generation potential among Rural masses and environmental sustainability through circular economy approach.
